Development and Communications Intern

CLAN Media Group – Los Angeles, CA

June 2022 – Present

During this internship, I'm assisting company founder Gloria Coulanges with two different creative projects.
1. Providing feedback, edits, and notes on screenplay drafts, followed by developing and presenting pitches of the screenplay to producers, developers, and industry professionals
2. Assisting Gloria with crafting the internal and external messaging leading up to launch of the company's annual fundraising campaign. I am also helping to strategize PR tactics to engage large- and small-scale donors and build a coalition of nonprofit fundraisers and donors.

Sky Show Actor

I performed the role of Jesse in the Adler Planetarium's Destination Solar System sky show in the Grainger Sky Theater. I perform three to four shows a day and interact with guests before and after the show in character

I supervised groups of 50 kids throughout three monthly sessions of theatre camp. TCOM Student Advisory Council

I led representatives of student groups in the TCOM department. Together the SAC shapes the future of TCOM student involvement in the wider College of Communications and the university as a whole. The organization discusses things happening in the department, looks for fundraising opportunities, plans the annual awards banquet and also gives tours of the department to prospective students.

I personally organized and scheduled the department tours, led the meetings, and was the student liason between the TCOM faculty and student body.

I made executive decisions regarding programming and promotion for the station. During my time as GM I grew the team from two to five members. This position was also a fellowship with Comcast where I worked with a representative to ensure Ball State programs were broadcast and sent to and approved by Comcast to be put On Demand.
